Private Watercolor Classes

Private watercolor classes are available in my studio, at your home
or plein air.

Beginning classes will cover the fundamentals of watercolor painting, focusing on composition, value, color and managing the unique, beautiful medium of watercolor. Different techniques will be demonstrated, including washes, reserving whites and glazing.

Intermediate through Advanced classes will focus on projects tailored to each student.

A materials list will be provided before the first class.

Katherine McGuire has a BA in Fine Arts from the University of New Mexico. She had a painting in the Statewide Watercolor Competition at the Triton Museum of Art in Santa Clara in 2009.
